- Plan and facilitate the Supplemental Instruction sessions; assist students in developing transferrable learning and study skills, provide additional instruction and mentoring to students in class

- Mentors are paired one-on-one with mentees, and they work together for one semester (sometimes longer). Set up weekly meetings with designated mentee, and in those meetings, assist with: time management, understanding writing prompts, citing sources, communicating with professors, etc. Successful mentors are friendly, organized, flexible, resilient, good at making people feel at ease, and interested in helping others.
